Geocaching in its origin is an earthly outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Position System (GPS) receiver or mobile device to hide and seek containers called “Geocaches” or “Caches” at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world. The American astrophysicist Carl Sagan lead the effort to launch the first interstellar Geocache known as the Voyager Golden Records.  These are two phonograph records that were included aboard both the Voyager 1 & the Voyager 2 spacecrafts launched in 1977.

The records contain sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth… should any extraterrestrial life-form find them. Today (2055) we are active space communters with more space to explore and more exciting locations and dimensions to hide secrets in.
